I have owned this table for a year. Just bought another one. For a manufactured wood like item it's well made. Everything pulled together tightly and drawers work smoothly. The table drawers are deep enough to handle misc. items used at bedside. It carries a load, books, ceramic bowl, decorator bonsai plant very easily. It's easily movable without falling apart due to tight manufacturing. Though I prefer solid wood, this particular table works in multiple areas of the home as a nightstand, living room end table, entry end table, bathroom storage. So why did I not buy solid wood? You CANNOT BEAT THE DURABILITY AND COST with anything on the open market today....believe me I have looked!!
